Dialogue Session with Nobel Laureate, Prof Thomas J. Sargent

Professor Thomas J. Sargent is an internationally renowned economist and Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (2011) laureate, recognised for transforming modern macroeconomics. His research pioneered the use of rational expectations and advanced econometric methods to study how government policies —especially monetary and fiscal policy—shape inflation, unemployment, and business cycles.

He is co-teaching a course at NUS Risk Management Institute (RMI).

This session offers a unique opportunity for students to ask any questions, hear his perspectives, and interact in an intimate Q&A setting.
