RMI Launches its Official MFE WeChat Account

RMI launched the official WeChat Account for the NUS MFE Program, in December 2018. The WeChat account is a great way for the entire MFE community to keep abreast of the latest MFE news, happenings, events, as well as share their thoughts and experiences. The MFE WeChat page already features ten articles by MFE alumni and students. The account also aims to leverage the App’s explosive popularity in China with more than 1 billion monthly active users to help create more market visibility for the NUS MFE Program. January 2019 In January 2019, RMI presented the Long Service Award to four staff members. Ms. Jaslin Chong, RMI’s Management Assistant Officer with the Executive Education Team received the award as a recognition of her 10 years of continued service at the university. Ms. Gong Zheng, RMI’s Research Fellow, Ms. Lynn Ang, RMI’s Senior Executive with the Executive Education Team and Mr. Zack Sng, RMI’s Specialist Associate were recognized for their five years of NUS work. RMI’s Acting Director Prof. Sun Yeneng presented the award to them at RMI’s Chinese New Year Lunch Celebration on 25 January 2019.

26 January 2019 In the evening of 26 January 2019, over 100 MFE lecturers, students, and alumni gathered at the NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House for a New Year dinner to celebrate the festive season. RMI’s Acting Director and MFE Program Director Prof. Sun Yeneng welcomed the attendees and updated them on the MFE Program, ranging from its admission, curriculum, to job placement. The dinner featured an appetizing selection international buffet. The attendees enjoyed themselves while getting acquainted with fellow students and alumni, which contributed to the building of a more cohesive MFE community consisting of more than 2000 proud NUS MFE ambassadors.
