Dr. Song Yingda visited RMI from 3 to 22 January 2018. Dr. Song is currently an Assistant Professor at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He received his PhD from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013. His research interests include stochastic modelling, applied probability and financial engineering. Prof. Masaaki Kijima visited RMI from 8 to 19 January 2018. Prof. Kijima is a Professor of Finance at Graduate School of Social Sciences, Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) since 2006. He received his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Rochester in 1986, after which he returned to Tokyo Institute of Technology to become an Assistant Professor and started his research career of applied probability and finance. Prof. Nizar Touzi visited RMI from 8 to 19 January 2018 and is visiting us again from 19 February to 2 March 2018. Prof. Touzi has been the Professor of Applied Mathematics at École Polytechnique since 2006. He was previously Chair Professor at Imperial College London. An invited Speaker at the International Mathematicians Congress in Hyderabad in 2010, Prof. Touzi received the Louis Bachelier Prize of the French Academy of Sciences in 2012, and the Paris Europlace Prize of Best Young Researcher in Finance in 2007. Prof. Halil Soner visited RMI from 8 January to 2 February 2018. Prof. Soner is currently a Professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH-Z) and also holds a Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute. His research is on nonlinear analysis with emphasis on optimal stochastic control, partial differential equations, stochastic processes and mathematical finance.
