The 1st Singapore-Munich Conference on Innovations in Insurance, Risk, and Asset Management and 6th NUS Workshop on Risk and Regulation will take place in Singapore on 19 and 20 September 2017. The aim of this conference is to enhance existing connections and foster new collaborations between researchers and practitioners from Singapore and Europe by presenting and discussing on risk management, regulation, insurance, and asset management.
PROGRAM
This one and a half day conference will feature:
- A plenary talk by Prof. Mark Davis of Imperial College
     o Title: Verification and Back-Testing of Risk Measure Estimates
    
- Industry Panel discussion on topics such as:
     o Corporate risk management framework
     o Developments in fintech and digital innovations
     o Singapore's role in Asian markets
     o Alternative investment opportunities
     o New risks & new perspectives in the financial markets
     o Regulatory framework for sustainable business model in view of Basel III-IV and Solvency II

- Research paper presentation in quantitative finance and economics. Topics Include:
     o Innovations in finance and insurance
     o Fintech
     o Corporate risk management theory and practice
     o Operational, market, and credit risk modelling
     o Statistical and econometric techniques for financial and insurance problems
     o Dynamic investment strategies under regulatory constraints
